Ex-Oakland County Elementary School Substitute Teacher Convicted of Sex Crimes Against Children

Timothy Daugherty, 61, a substitute teacher at Spring Mills Elementary School in Highland Township, was convicted Monday in Oakland County Circuit Court of sex crimes against children, the Oakland Press reports. 

Daugherty, of White Lake Township, was found guilty of all six counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct filed against him for crimes that occurred at the elementary school in northern Oakland County.

All the victims were girls, ranging in age from 9 to 11. He was accused of inappropriate sexual contact.

Sentencing is scheduled for June 24.
