Three Ohio men face murder charges in Monday night's robbery and slaying of the owner of a Pontiac marijuana grow business.
William Creasy and Scott Brown were charged with felony murder and armed robbery in the death of Sam Simko, 66. A third suspect, Deonte Prophett, was charged with felony murder, armed robbery, felony firearm possession, and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
At a press conferencre on Wednesday, Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard said one of the suspects met with the owner and as he was leaving the premesis, two others wearing masks and gloves forced their way in.

He said the owner was then "executed," explaining that he was shot in the head, then zip-tied him. They then place a bag over his head. He said the men made off with a substantial amount of marijuana. The business partner discovered Simko after he was shot.
He said investigators were able to track the suspects in Ohio where search warrants were executed. He said a .45 caliber handgun was recovered. He said the owner was shot with a .45 caliber gun.
Simko of Commerce Township leaves behind a wife and adult children.
